Cordova v. Laliberte

Summary

All students at Boise State University are required to pay an annual student activity fee, which the Associated Students group uses to fund hundreds of recognized student groups. The University, however, entirely excluded religious student organizations from the funding process – while funding the Secular Student Alliance. ADF filed a lawsuit and the University subsequently agreed not to deny registration or student funding to religious groups based on their religious character, or their decision to limit membership or leadership to individuals that share the faith of the group.
