Oller v. Roussel

Summary

A Ph.D. applied language and speech professor at the University of Louisiana at LaFayette was censored by the University for his viewpoints on creation and other matters. ADF filed suit on behalf of the professor’s right to freedom of speech and right to be free of retaliation for his protected speech, but the Court ruled the professor’s speech was in the course of his official duties and not protected by the First Amendment.
