Religious Student Organization at Indiana University

Summary

When Clearnote Campus Fellowship sought to renew its status as a recognized student group, Indiana University Bloomington demanded that it include a non-discrimination policy in its constitution. This policy would have denied the group the right to retain faith-based requirements for members and leaders. ADF assisted the group and, on April 4, 2016, the University announced that it would reverse course and not require student groups to adopt a nondiscrimination policy, leaving groups like Clearnote free to retain faith-based requirements for members and leaders.
