Steiger v. Lord-Larson

Summary

When a student and resident assistant at University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, tried to hold a Bible study in his dorm room, the University threatened disciplinary action. Although other RAs had led groups in their rooms to discuss topics including feminism and sexual issues, the University drew the line at the discussion of Scripture. ADF filed a lawsuit, and the University agreed to settle the case, change its policies to allow the Bible studies, and protect the First Amendment rights of students.
