Young Americans for Freedom v. Bryant

Summary

In 2012, a Palm Beach State College student and two Young Americans for Freedom members were kicked off campus after tabling and recruiting during club rush at the College, even though the student had received prior permission to promote the organization. College officials even contacted campus police to ensure the trio left the campus. ADF filed a lawsuit and the College agreed to remove its speech zones for students, eliminate portions of its speech code, and provide better protection for spontaneous student speech on campus.
