Christian Legal Society at the University of Iowa

Summary

In 2009 and 2010, the Christian Legal Society chapter at University of Iowa came under fire for asking its leaders to abstain from sexual conduct outside of marriage, deemed “sexual orientation” discrimination by some faculty and students who petitioned the school to remove the group’s funding. With ADF’s assistance CLS sent a letter that persuaded the administrators not to discriminate against the group.
