Cowboys For Life v. Sampson

Summary

In 2013, Cowboys for Life sought to host the Justice for All display on the Oklahoma State University Campus. The University refused to approve the reservation request for a large campus lawn area. When the group sought to reserve a different space, the University relocated the group and required the group to post warning signs around the display. The University also sought to limit the group’s ability to distribute literature. ADF filed a lawsuit and the University subsequently agreed to to revise the challenged policies, and to write Cowboys for Life a letter declaring that it was in good standing and faced no more discipline.
