Summary

In 2004, Pennsylvania State University told a Christian student group that it could not hold its members and leaders to Christian faith and conduct standards. ADF and CLS filed suit and the University subsequently amended its policies to protect the right of religious clubs to institute faith-based requirements for officers and members.
