Summary

An archway at the recently constructed Heavener Hall on the campus of the University of Florida’s business school is inscribed with the Bible verse, Micah 6:8. The Freedom From Religion Foundation sent a letter to the University president complaining that the verse violated the “separation of church and state.” ADF sent its own letter to the University rebutting FFRF’s arguments, and in October 2015, the University announced it will keep the Scripture and add other secular quotes as well.
