Milward v. Shaheen

Summary
Valencia State College requires female students in its sonography program to let their colleagues perform transvaginal sonograms on them. Three students objected to this, and were subjected to retaliation from College officials, including threats to lower their grades or blacklist them at local hospitals. In 2015, they filed suit, and ADF filed an amicus brief on their behalf at the Eleventh Circuit. In October 2016, the Eleventh Circuit ruled in the students’ favor. The case remains pending.
