Summary

In 2014, the Young Americans for Freedom chapter at Virginia Tech hosted an event advertised as “Alien Invasion: How Illegal Immigration is Hurting America” on campus. Following the event, the student budget board told the club it would not be funded for two semesters because the event “violated the principles of community.” ADF assisted YAF in preparing an internal appeal document and, four days after its submission, the club learned its funding had been restored.
