Young Americans for Liberty v. Coleman

Summary

In 2013, the Young Americans for Liberty chapter at the University of Michigan hosted a lecture by Jennifer Gratz on affirmative action but was denied funding by the University, which prohibited student fee funding for religious and political activities. ADF filed a lawsuit, and the University provided a sum to the group in settlement and agreed to change its student fee policy to allow funding for political speech.
