Christian Legal Society Chapter at the University of Idaho v. SBA Council of the Student Bar Association of the University of Idaho College of Law

Summary

University of Idaho rejected the Christian Legal Society chapter’s application for student activities fees on ground that chapter discriminates on basis of religion by maintaining faith-based requirements for members and leaders. ADF provided advice and assistance and, on appeal, the University student judiciary determined that CLS’s faith standards for leaders and voting members was not invidious “discrimination” under the University’s policies.
