Cooper v. Keiser

Summary

Southwest Missouri State University limited free speech to a fraction of its campus and imposed policies that could have prevented religious groups to select members and leaders on the basis of shared religious beliefs. With the help of ADF, Young Americans for Freedom filed suit in November 2003, seeking to ensure free speech for all students. The University settled the case, changing virtually all of its policies that were challenged in the lawsuit.
